“ Had a great time here! This restaurant is located right in downtown orlando. We went for happy hour because we just couldn't pass up the deals!! Sushi rolls priced between $4- $6 and amazing drink prices. The ambiance was EVERYTHING. Low lighting, chill music, beautiful things to look at. The service was pretty quick for a Saturday night. I wasn't a huge fan of the sake-tini due to sweetness but my husband loved it. We ordered the fireball roll, orlando roll and the alaska roll. They are not kidding when they named the 'fireball' its name. This roll was SPICY!!! Flavors were fresh and sushi was good. It might not be the best sushi ever but for the vibes, prices and drinks it was 100% worth it and we will definitely be making this a happy hour staple for us. Can't wait to return! ”
“ Literally the best happy hour in town! I was hesitant to post this review because I didn't want them to get too popular and raise prices lol. The value and taste is what keeps us coming back anytime we're in the downtown area during happy hour. The signature sushi rolls are chefs kiss and the servers are always amazing and helpful. Its a downtown vibe so the vibe is pretty social and energetic. ”
“ Looking for a nice Sunday Funday Brunch vibe, then look no further than Shakai Sushi Lounge. While I've been to Shakai on several occasions for more than just brunch, I will speak primarily on the brunch. While the name of the restaurant is Shakai Sushi Lounge, I can honestly say I've never had their sushi. However, I have had a few of their weekend brunch selections, in particular, their avocado toast and their French toast with berries. Both were quite good and filling. The lovely thing is, if you purchase an entree, you can upgrade your brunch experience to include bottomless mimosas and a side of your choosing for 2 hours for $45.00. It is truly a good deal for a weekend brunch - considering a few other popular brunch spots can get way pricier. Another great aspect is that typically, if you are looking for great music vibes and the opportunity to dance, then Shakai usually has a DJ during brunching hours to provide some of your favorite tunes to jam and move your body too. They also offer hookah - if you are looking for that within your brunch / weekend experience. It is priced outside of the brunch menu, and you must pay for that separately. It's reasonably priced and they offer a handful of flavor profiles. Split between friends that enjoy that, it can run you about $12.00 per person. Overall, this is one of a few brunch experiences that offers food, music, hookah and bottomless mimosas. Orlando, unlike other major hub cities, doesn't offer too many of those opportunities and few restaurants tend to fill up quickly or require the cost of entry in addition to what you must pay once you are seated. So, it's refreshing, Shakai doesn't typically have a cover fee to get into their brunch. However, they do accept reservations. So, if you'd like a guaranteed table, reserve ahead. As for the restaurant itself, it is mood-lighting forward. It's a bit darker inside, so if you are looking to take well-brightly, lit photos of your weekend look, then do so before you get inside or be prepared for flash photography. Seating is ample in the main dining areas as well as at the bar. It's not usually too packed, but it does fill up on the weekends. Food and beverages come out quickly. The staff is super nice, and the vibes are definitely provided! Definitely pay them a visit when the opportunity arises. Also, next time I visit, I'll be sure to make it a mission of mine to try their sushi, so I can share my thoughts on that. ”
“ Awesome sushi spot located in Downtown Orlando. They have a great happy hour menu with sushi, apps and drinks on special. The interior is beautiful with lots of wood and an upscale vibe. We got four sushi rolls to share, two apps and 4 drinks on happy hour and our total was $60. They had some unique rolls, one with crawfish in it and another which we got that was deep fried and had lobster, both of which were included on the HH menu! I've been hearing about this place for a while and i'm happy we finally made it in. Downtown has changed a lot over the last few years but i'll venture down there for Shakai sushi! ”
“ Every time we go downtown for something, we have to go to Shakai! They have the BEST happy hour deals in all of Orlando! They have a ton of variety, they are all delicious, full size rolls and super cheap. You literally cannot beat it! Happy Hour is every day from 5 to 7pm, drink specials range from $3-$6 and apps and sushi rolls range from $4-$6. I've never been after dining hours, but supposedly it gets pretty lively, more of a club/lounge vibe. ”
“ Stopped by for dinner before volunteering at Fringe ArtSpace for happy hour with discounted sushi prices. We tried the crazy coconut roll, which was delicious. ”
